The WSQ-Discovery can be used to identify an individual’s Personality System Type.
A System Type results from the unique interaction between all of the scales measured on the WSQ-Discovery:
The PsyPlex© is a proprietary graphical depiction of an individual’s Personality System Type and is comprised of all of the scales on the WSQ-Discovery aligned along Four Vectors.
It is critical to understand that Vectors are not opposites; individuals may possess Traits, Self-Concepts, Psychological Values, Structural Scales, or Conflict Energies that prominently align on both sides of a given Vector. For example, an individual may be high on both Enthusiasm Drive and Expectation Drive. This type of individual would work well in flexible, inspiring contexts as well as be comfortable with planning and routine.
Additionally, research suggests that no two PsyPlex© Profiles are exactly alike. Individuals may have categorial similarities but will likely express these patterns in unique ways. Ultimately, the PsyPlex© is most useful for understanding how individuals are like some other humans while being different from other humans (Murray, 1953).
